Course Content:
- Basic Maori values, attributes and beliefs.
- Tribal Iwi groups – how Maori society is organized.
- Marae hospitality and protocols.
- Key ceremonial aspects.
- Simple Te Reo – relevant Maori words.
- Developing relationships.
- Consultation and meetings.
NB: This is the introductory course which, for enthusiastic participants, leads on to Course 2 and Course 3.
